A Taste of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Orlando

(Updated September 2, 2025)

Thanksgiving means different things to different people. Food. Family. Football. Falloons.

A decorated Christmas tree on the streets of Universal Studios Florida.

If you’re wondering, a “falloon” is one of the giant balloons at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Over 50 million Americans watch the parade every year.

The parade, one of the country’s oldest, started in 1924 in Manhattan. After its TV debut in 1948, it went from being an NYC tradition to a national one.

Each year, about 3 million people brave the cold and crowds to see the parade live in New York. Others watch it on TV while the turkey roasts.

But there’s another way to experience the excitement of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and it’s right here in Orlando, at Universal Studios Florida.

Key Takeaways

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s

Visitors and performers dancing in the streets during a Universal Macy's Christmas parade.

When the Macy’s Parade ends, those massive falloons have to go somewhere, with many going to a warehouse in New Jersey.

But after the 2002 parade, Macy’s sent some of its balloons down to Universal Orlando Resort. Thus, a new tradition was born: Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.

The parade runs nightly through late fall and early winter. It delivers the magic of the Macy’s Parade, but with warmer weather and calmer crowds.

Macy’s eventually stopped sending falloons from NYC and started making custom ones for Universal, allowing Universal Studios Florida to start the parade earlier in the season.

In 2025, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will run from November 21 – December 31.

The half-hour parade runs through Production Central at Universal Studios Florida where you can wave to friends from “Despicable Me,” “Shrek,” and “Madagascar” as they march in their holiday best.

The parade also features clowns, dancers, stilt-walkers, and iconic Macy’s starflake balloons.

Like the New York parade, Orlando’s also ends with a visit from Santa. As he lights up a giant Christmas tree, flurries gently float through the air. In sunny Florida, the nightly snowfall is a true Christmas miracle.

Depending on when the park closes on a given night, the fun begins at either 5 or 5:30 p.m.

The parade is included with park admission.

Holiday Cheer is Universal

While you’re at Universal Orlando Resort’s main campus for the paraade, be sure to enjoy the park’s other holly-jolly attractions.

Universal Studios Florida’s Diagon Alley will sparkle with lights and holiday decor, as will Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure.

Both areas of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will also feature holiday tunes where you can sing along to the musical stylings of Celestina Warbeck or a choir of talented frogs.

Islands of Adventure is also home to the annual Grinchmas celebration. Explore Whoville, enjoy a performance of The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, and meet Mt. Crumpit’s most infamous resident.

Make your Holiday Theme Park Experience Epic

It’s been a busy year for Universal Orlando with the grand opening of their brand-new theme park, Universal’s Epic Universe.

While Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are located on the same property (and connected by Universal CityWalk), Epic Universe is about a 15 minute drive from its sister parks.

As of now, no details about holiday celebrations at Epic Universe have been announced, but at the very least, festive decorations and holiday cheer are expected.

Stay tuned to learn what epic Christmas celebrations are in store for guests at Epic Universe this year.

September 26, 2024 (Updated August 26, 2025 by Abigail Bass)

Every small business in Orlando adds to the uniqueness of this city. From the creative options of hot food spots to niche shops and boutiques, we celebrate small businesses.

After shrugging off a Thanksgiving turkey coma and finding the best deals during Black Friday, join us on November 29, 2025, in supporting our local businesses for Small Business Saturday.

Here are just a few places around town where you can make the biggest impact on Orlando’s small businesses.

Key Takeaways

Saturday Farmers Markets

East Orlando

When you’re on the hunt for local goodies, farmers markets are among the best places to go.

If you’re shopping around on Small Business Saturday, then make the Winter Park Farmers Market one of your stops.

Every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Winter Park holds its local farmers market in Central Park West Meadow.

It’s great for buying locally grown produce and plants, as well as delicious baked goods, organic foods, and drinks.

The vendors may vary weekly. Some businesses at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market include Orlando City Pasta, Simply Savory Gourmet, The Flower Shack Orlando, Prairie Farms Organics, and dozens more.

West Orlando

Winter Garden’s farmers market also takes place on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Winter Garden Farmers Market similarly hosts local businesses that sell produce, plants, food, and artwork.

Orlando Food Trucks

Food trucks are not only a great way to dine when you’re on the go, but they’re also how a lot of restaurants get their big start.

South Orlando

This Orlando area is filled with dozens of food trucks, and Kissimmee is home to Central Florida’s first permanent food truck park: World Food Trucks.

This park is open for business every day and currently has over 80 food trucks on its grounds.

Many of the food trucks at this park serve Latin American cuisine such as Mexican, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Caribbean foods.

Also in Kissimmee is Food Trucks Heaven, a food truck park next to Main Gate Flea Market.

There are currently 50 food trucks at the park, and they range from serving sweet treats and Latin American delights to Asian, French, Italian, and American delicacies.

North, West, and East Orlando

Other food trucks you can find around Orlando not in a park include La Patrona Tacos & Birria House on Howell Branch Road in Winter Park, The Pastrami Project on Magnolia Ave downtown, Just Extremely Tasty on Moss Park Road in Orlando, The Pass Kitchen on Sunshine Lane in Altamonte Springs, and so much more.

A great way to discover new food trucks is to visit À La Carte, an open-air bar with a lineup of craft beers, wine, ciders, and seltzers.

Their outdoor courtyard is usually packed with fabulous food trucks, so you can enjoy a refreshing drink with your food truck fare. Check out their original location in the Milk District and their new SoDo spot.

If you’re in the mood for light bites and coffee, then you’ll definitely want to visit some of Orlando’s cafes during your Small Business Saturday ventures.

Nestled in Orlando’s high rises are cafe favorites such as Craft & Common and Stemma Craft Coffee. Both shops serve craft coffees, teas, sandwiches, and more.

The Kitty Beautiful is a cat cafe that serves coffee, sandwiches, and cat-themed bakery items while guests hang out with furry friends in the cat lounge.

East Orlando

In Baldwin Park, you’ll find the “Friends”-inspired coffee shop, Baldwin Perk (also known as Tutto Café).

This place serves delectable desserts, “Friends”-themed breakfast goods, and an abundance of coffee to sip on while seated on sitcom-themed decor.

5 Proposal Spots in Orlando That Will Get You a ‘Yes!’

By Brianna Plato
November 1, 2023 (Updated August 6, 2025 by Kate Cohen)

Proposal season is in full swing, which means it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to pop the big question (if you haven’t already).

A woman holds her chest and smiles, leaning into a man who is holding out an open ring box in glowing golden sun.

Orlando has an abundance of picture-perfect destinations, but a scenic backdrop isn’t the only thing to consider when searching for a romantic proposal spot.

Whether your partner wants a more intimate experience or they’re a fan of big spectacles, here are five of the best proposal spots in Orlando that are sure to get you a “Yes!”

Key Takeaways

1. Harry P. Leu Gardens

A pathway with a wooden and iron railing through tall trees and tropical greenery.

If you’re an Orlando local, you’ve probably spent a spring afternoon meandering through Harry P. Leu Gardens. It’s a beautiful botanical paradise and a hometown hidden gem.

What makes this spot special is not only the towering bamboo planted throughout, but also the beautiful white gazebo in the middle of the gardens, which makes for the perfect place to propose.

A variety of other lush gardens, tropical foliage, and photo-worthy spots make Leu Gardens an idyllic option for a proposal destination.

2. Walt Disney World Engagements

Topiaries of Beauty and the Beast surrounded by flowers in the France Pavilion at EPCOT.

It’s no surprise that Walt Disney World theme parks are some of the most popular proposal spots in Orlando, with most happening in front of the iconic Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.

However, if you’re looking for a more private alternative, perhaps one where your engagement photos won’t be photobombed by tourists, there are plenty of other scenic routes to take for your special moment.

For example, you can create your own fairytale with Disney’s fireworks cruise. The boat departs from various locations around the property and offers stunning views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Not only is it a beautiful way to make a lasting memory, but it’s also personal enough for something as special as a proposal.

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate happily ever after than with one of the most memorable sky spectacles in Orlando.

3. A Romantic Dinner at Cala Bella

Two chairs and a table set with wine glasses beside an ornate railing overlooking palm trees and a beautiful building.

Nothing says, “Will You Marry Me?” like pan-seared lasagna Bolognese. As self-proclaimed foodies, we had to include this one on the list.

It’s a tale as old as time, though romantic dinner proposals don’t have to be a thing of the past. If your partner is a fan of low-key vibes and delicious food, this option will surely be a winner.

At Rosen Shingle Creek’s Cala Bella, you can expect Italian and Mediterranean-inspired dishes like grass-fed lamb, bucatini carbonara, and baked meatballs. Now that’s amore.

We suggest reserving a spot in their private dining area to go that extra mile and ensure an even more intimate experience.

Finish off the evening by popping a bottle of champagne and toasting to the next chapter of your love story.

4. Lake Eola Park Proposals

A beautiful lake with tall buildings and a rainbow arc, with the front of a white swan boat in the foreground. Lake Eola is a great place for a proposal in Orlando.

Lake Eola Park sits in the heart of downtown Orlando and offers lush greenery, tall skyscrapers, and a grand fountain in the middle of the lake.

The near mile-long sidewalk that circles the lake is an optimal location for walks, picnics, and of course, proposals.

If you visit during sunset, the views of an orange and pink sky on the reflective water are stunning for engagement photos.

Clapping and cheering are likely in order as this proposal location is subject to having onlookers due to the area’s popularity.

5. Somewhere Special to You and Your Loved One

A man and woman sit in a booth at a restaurant with large windows and high lanterns, smiling at one another over cups of coffee and dessert.

The thoughtfulness of a proposal is always what matters the most.

You’re asking someone to spend the rest of their life with you, so why not do something special and unique to your relationship?

Perhaps where you had your first date, where you first met, a place the two of you frequently visit, or even somewhere you created your favorite memory together?

A proposal doesn’t have to be extravagant as long as it’s well thought-out and endearing.

Tie the Knot at Rosen Shingle Creek

A man in a suit twirls a woman in a grand white dress outdoors on a walkway lined with rose bushes and palm trees.

So, you got a “yes” – congratulations!

The next step is deciding when and where to host your stunning wedding.

By Kate Cohen
(Updated August 19, 2025)

For a limited time, you can enjoy the enticing Tuscan and Mediterranean flavors and Italian-inspired ambiance of Cala Bella as a three-course prix-fixe menu through the Magical Dining event.

For the incredible price of $40, choose from a selection of Cala Bella’s finest dishes and curate a meal that’s perfect for your palate.*

A large dining room at Cala Bella with rustic arches and wood beams on the ceiling.

Join us between August 15 and September 30, 2025, for an incredible Magical Dining experience.

Here’s what you can look forward to when you opt to dine at Cala Bella for Magical Dining.

Key Takeaways

Course One

To jump-start your taste buds, begin by choosing between three beautiful dishes.

The Farmer’s Salad is a colorful array of garden-fresh ingredients, several of which were grown in our onsite garden, Emma’s Creekside Farm.

Greens like garden lettuce and longevity spinach create a healthy base for a salad adorned with carrots, cucumbers, blue cheese, slow roasted tomatoes.

The salad is then tossed in a bright passion fruit vinaigrette for a fresh start to your three-course meal.

If you’ve come to Cala Bella in search of more “traditional” Italian flavors, the Baked Meatball will surely satisfy.

A perfectly seasoned and tenderly cooked meatball is plated with robust red sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes, topped with melted mozzarella cheese.

A slice of crusty grilled focaccia bread will be your friend when it comes to getting every drop of the sauce from your plate.

A plate with red sauces topped with fresh tomatoes, grilled octopus, and spring greens.

Your third option is the Charred Octopus, a signature dish at Cala Bella.

This is a dish that appeals to the eyes first, with an assortment of vibrant colors and textures piled high.

Lightly grilled octopus sits atop a fragrant romesco sauce scattered with fresh heirloom cherry tomatoes, bunching onion, and mustard greens. It’s incredible that something from the sea can look like it came straight from the garden.

For an additional charge, you can also opt for the menu enhancement: Salumi e Formaggi.

This bountiful charcuterie displays a beautiful array of meats and cheeses, including 16-month aged prosciutto, spicy soppressata, and Pecorino Toscano. It’s a lovely way to tantalize your taste buds with a variety of flavors before the second course comes to the table.

Course Two

Now that you’re warmed up, it’s time to choose your entree.

The Oxtail Fettuccine is a rich and hearty pasta dish that will transport you to the Italian countryside.

A pasta dish topped with tomatoes and fresh herbs on a round plate against a marble table.

Freshly made pasta is tossed with a savory oxtail ragout and sprinkled with stracciatella cheese. A sprinkling of bright green garden peppers and fresh oregano adds a visual contrast, as well as a fresh layer of flavor.

Another Cala Bella classic is the HertaBerkSchwein Farms Pork Scallopini, sourced from a sustainable family-owned farm nearby.

This juicy cut of meat is served with salty and savory 16-month aged prosciutto, creamy Tallegio Gold Yukon potatoes, and a flavorful Madeira sage jus.

If you’re craving seafood, you can try the Local Catch, a fresh fish perfectly prepared to showcase its unique flavors. It will be served with Cedar Key clams, earthy lentils and beans, and a rich smoked tomato brodo (broth).

Course Three

We hope you’ve saved room for dessert, since it’s included in your Magical Dining experience.

The Lemon Tiramisu is a fresh citrusy take on a signature Italian dish.

Layers of ladyfingers are soaked in limoncello alternate with lemon mascarpone mousse, all topped with candied lemon, mango passionfruit sauce, and a bright limoncello glaze.

The Pistachio Cheesecake is a playfully nutty twist on a classic dessert. The cheesecake itself is tangy, rich, and creamy, and the top is sprinkled with pistachio crunch, candied pistachios, and a bright raspberry sauce.

Lastly, caramel enthusiasts will fall in love with the Salted Caramel Budino.

This sweet and salty treat is made of salted caramel pudding and a chocolate cookie crust, topped with salted caramel sauce, carmel crispearls, and vanilla bean whipped cream.

Magical Dining 2025 at A Land Remembered in Orlando

By Kate Cohen
Updated August 19, 2025 by Abigail Bass

Magical Dining is back for another spectacular year of culinary exploration for six weeks beginning August 15, 2025.

At A Land Remembered at Rosen Shingle Creek, you can enjoy a three-course prix-fixe menu that features dishes celebrating local Florida ingredients and the state’s rich culinary legacy.

Join us for dinner and take advantage of the opportunity to try some of the most popular menu items at A Land Remembered for the incredible price of $60 per person.

Here are some of the decadent dishes you’ll be able to try on this year’s Magical Dining menu at A Land Remembered.

Key Takeaways

Course One

The indulgence begins right away in the first course. You’ll get to choose from one of three incredible options, each a true taste of luxury.

A salad is a timeless way to begin a Magical Dining meal – and none more delicious than the Steakhouse Wedge. Iceberg lettuce brings its signature crunch to a harmonious mix of heirloom tomatoes, crisp bacon, sesame dukkah, and torn dill. A drizzle of creamy gorgonzola dressing perfectly complements this ensemble of flavors.

Magical Dining 2024 ALR Bacon 1

Bacon lovers will swoon for the Thick Cut House Smoked Bacon that is simultaneously salty, savory, and sweet thanks to a local sugar cane syrup glaze.

If you’ve ever considered trying octopus, the Charred Octopus starter is for you. Embark on an oceanic voyage where charred octopus meets black beauty eggplant and house-smoked bacon. A finishing touch of Calabrian chili honey and farm citrus vinaigrette adds a zesty warmth to this already vibrant dish.

Course Two

Enjoy tender prime rib from the Magical Dining menu.

If the first course was a warmup, Course Two is the headliner. The Slow Roasted Prime Rib is richly marbled and cooked to tender perfection, a classic worth your Magical Dining visit. A rich au jus and zesty horseradish crème add layers of flavor to this supreme cut of tender beef.

The Gundagai Lamb Half Rack is another way to add tender perfection to your dinner lineup. Treat yourself to lavish Australian lamb coated in a garden herb and pistachio crust. The lamb is topped with a sophisticated blend of bordelaise and mint hot honey yogurt, all served with creamy mashed potatoes and garden vegetables.

If seafood is more your style, the Seared Alaskan Halibut is the way to go. This mild, delicate fish is served alongside crispy house bacon, forbidden rice, asparagus and radish salad, and a velvety caper butter sauce.

If you want to take your second course to the next level, consider one of our two add-on enhancements: the King Crab Oscar or a Maine Lobster Tail, both available for an additional charge.

Course Three

There’s something for everyone when it comes to the third course: dessert. The Banana Caramel Cheesecake is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. This smooth, creamy cheesecake is complemented by a perfectly crispy vanilla wafer crust. Ribbons of fluffy whipped cream and a drizzle of decadent salted caramel sauce pair perfectly with the sweet banana flavors in the dessert.

Key Lime Pie is a Florida classic, making it a fitting touch to the menu at A Land Remembered. Ours has a perfectly tangy, creamy filling that will transport you to the tropics. It’s enhanced by a coconut and pecan graham cracker crust that delivers just the right amount of crunch with every bite. Each slice is topped with a lightly toasted meringue that playfully contrasts the bright, tart key lime flavors of the dish.

Chocolate lovers (and bourbon lovers), the Bourbon Milk Chocolate Cake may call your name. This dessert is unapologetically chocolate, with a rich dark chocolate sponge cake and layers of fluffy milk chocolate mousse. Balancing the richness is a silky bourbon ganache that adds the sophistication of spice to flavor of this decadent dessert.

Support Local Restaurants and Nonprofits by Partaking in Magical Dining

Magical Dining is in its twentieth year of supporting local Orlando nonprofits and collaborating with some of the best Central Florida restaurants. When you order from a Magical Dining menu, Magical Dining will donate up to $2 to an Orlando nonprofit that focuses on strengthening our vibrant community.

When you visit A Land Remembered for Magical Dining, not only will you be getting a sensational meal for an incredible price, but you’ll also be giving back to those who really need a helping hand.

Make Your Reservation at A Land Remembered for Magical Dining

A Land Remembered is a AAA Four Diamond restaurant. Not only are we known for serving the finest steaks from Linz Heritage Angus, but you’ll also find fresh produce grown in Rosen Shingle Creek’s on-site culinary garden known as Emma’s Creekside Farm – the epitome of farm to table dining.

While dining at a great steakhouse is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday or an anniversary, it’s equally ideal to end a day spent at the Spa at Shingle Creek or on the golf course. Of course, you don’t need an excuse to treat yourself to an incredible meal at A Land Remembered. You deserve a three-course feast every day and any day.

The Magical Dining event is only around for a limited time, so be sure to make a reservation to experience this exclusive three-course menu. You can do so online on OpenTable, or by calling 407-996-3663.

Halloween Horror Nights Returns for its 34th Year of Fear

Updated August 1, 2025

Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) has haunted parkgoers at Universal Orlando Resort for over three decades.

The award-winning event will return to Universal Studios Florida for select nights between Friday, August 29, to Sunday, November 2, 2025.

The separately ticketed event — prices starting at $82.99 — is recommended for gutsy guests ages 13 and older.

Feeling fearless? Here’s what you’ll find lurking in the dark at Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights 2025.

Key Takeaways

Hair-raising Haunted Houses at Halloween Horror Nights

A sinister mask advertising the Jason haunted house at HHN 34.

HHN is famous (or rather, infamous) for its themed haunted houses.

Once you enter one, your only way out is through a macabre, monster-filled maze. You never know when a scare actor will jump out and give you the fright of your life.

Many of the houses draw inspiration from popular horror franchises, while others are Universal’s own creepy creations.

In 2025, there will be 10 haunted houses at Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Orlando is slowly announcing their new themes, building a fearful sense of anticipation.

Here are the haunted houses you have to look forward to in 2025:

  • Based on the hit show and game franchise, the Fallout haunted house transports brave guests to post-apocalyptic L.A. You’ll face raiders and bounty hunters in an eerie wasteland.
  • The second haunted house announced is Jason Un1v3erse, where you’ll step into the summer camp where the iconic horror villain’s gruesome story began. Nothing can save you as you come face to face with Jason Voorhees himself.
  • Take on the sadistic Art the Clown in his twisted fun house as you creep your way through the Terrifier house. This gruesome and gory insight to a twisted mind is sure to leave you truly terrified.
  • You’ll be hunted by deadly animatronics as you flee through the Five Nights at Freddy’s haunted house. Abandoned hallways, ghostly machines, and uneasy nostalgia await.
  • In WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks, you’ll meet your match against maniacal minds. This eerie arena has you going head to head with your fears, and a slew of horrifying characters.
  • El Artista: A Spanish Haunting follows the haunting journey of a tortured artist in an isolated country manor with ghostly hallways and haunted corridors. Can you find your way out as his art comes to life and possesses him?
  • As you wander through Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, you’ll find yourself in an Old West town possessed by red-hot lava demons crawling out of a portal from hell.
  • Dolls: Let’s Play Dead embraces the creepy essence of lifelike toys as you become doll-sized and enter the world of a twisted little girl. Stalked by her frightening creations, you’ll end up in a Victorian doll house possessed by undead horrors.
  • You’re the guest of honor at your own funeral in Grave of Flesh, where you’ll pass through the Underworld amidst flesh-eaters who feed on the dead. Will you escape or forever be mercilessly hunted underground?
  • Gálkn: Monsters of the North is an icy horror story that takes place in a remote northern village that’s been possessed by a wicked being and hoards of monsters and demons from the fjords.

We’ll keep you updated as more of the 2025 HHN haunted houses are announced leading up to the event’s start date.

Lines for the haunted houses can be scarily long. If you’re dead set on doing all 10 houses in a night, strongly consider buying a Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass. This upgrade fast-tracks you to the front of each of the house’s line.

Scream-inducing Scare Zones

Two women and a man scream and cling to each other on a dark street as a figure approaches from the shadows.

Think you’re safe outside of the haunted houses? Think again.

In 2025, Halloween Horror Nights will feature four brand new scare zones.

The Origins of Horror is a “decaying conservatory of twisted vines” that is home to haunting carved tributes to this year’s HHN.

Masquerade: Dance with Death invites you to an eerie ball where bloodthirsty vampires are watching you from beneath masked disguises.

The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane transforms unsuspecting trick-or-treaters wandering down a spooky path into feral felines.

Mutations: Toxic Twenties sends guests time traveling back to the 1920s, where a BuzzCon truck with radioactive cargo crashes into a mobster getaway car.

Watch your back when passing through these outdoor areas. Ghastly creatures are everywhere, waiting for unwitting park guests to cross their paths.

Eerie Entertainment & Eats

A spooky angel-like zombie glows in purple light against a dark and spooky backdrop.

When exploring Halloween Horror Nights, it’s easy to feel like you’re the star of your own horror movie.

Take a moment to breathe at one of HHN’s live shows.

This year, catch a performance of Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay, a jam-packed performance with nightmarish stunts, illusions, and pyrotechnics.

Lingering at the Universal Studios lagoon is Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey, a ghost story rising from a watery grave with towering water screens and haunting music.

A selection of Universal Studios rides will stay open during Halloween Horror Nights.

Trade your chills for thrills while you board rides like Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Men in Black: Alien Attack, and Revenge of the Mummy.

Lines for these attractions tend to be shorter during Halloween Horror Nights. But if you spring for a Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass, it’ll get you right on these rides, too.

You’re likely to work up an appetite while running through the fog.

Luckily, there will be lots of devilishly delicious food at Halloween Horror Nights 2025.

You can also quench your thirst with creative cocktails, craft beer, and ice-cold soft drinks.

Year-round Fright is on the Rise at Epic Universe

A dark street silhouetted against a sky at twilight with old buildings, glowing lanterns, and a wet cobblestone path.

Halloween doesn’t last forever — or does it? The long-awaited opening of Universal’s newest park, Epic Universe, has finally arrived. And it’s bringing something horror lovers can enjoy all year long.

Dark Universe transports you to an eerie village known as Darkmoor. It’s home of all the Universal legendary monsters that come out to wreak havoc annually during spooky season.

Joining their side is the next generation of creepy characters, such as Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, the great-great-granddaughter of Henry Frankenstein.

Dark Universe features a variety of new attractions, such as the incredible ride, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.

You can also meet a variety of classic monsters, get a ghoulish makeover at the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience, check out a twisted family-friendly coaster called Curse of the Werewolf, and so much more.
