Leslie joined the Rosen Hotels & Resorts team in May 2001 to build and lead the pre-opening sales efforts for Rosen Shingle Creek, where she was not only on the design team but primarily responsible for pre-marketing and sales for the 1,500 room hotel. In addition to opening the hotel in Sept. 2006, she was charged with creating synergistic sales opportunities with the Rosen Centre and Rosen Plaza.
The hotel's successful opening led owner Harris Rosen to expand Leslie’s role to include Vice President, Rosen Hotels & Resorts, Convention Properties, in addition to her Rosen Shingle Creek sales and marketing duties. In Leslie’s new role she continues to oversee the centralization and synergy efforts of sales and marketing in addition to staff development and revenue management of the Rosen Centre, Rosen Plaza and Rosen Shingle Creek.
Previously, Leslie was in Las Vegas, where she was Director of Sales for Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas and also was instrumental in the opening of Paris Las Vegas. She was corporate liaison for Park Place Entertainment's corporate sales office, concentrating on efforts to synergize its five Las Vegas hotels including Paris Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas, Caesar Palace, Flamingo and Las Vegas Hilton.
Prior to Las Vegas, and during her first foray into Florida, Leslie was on the Sales team at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel as an Assistant Director of Sales and various other sales positions over a seven year period. Leslie arrived in FIorida from California where she was with Westin Hotels as Director of Sales at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, CA pre and post opening, amongst other sales and marketing and service positions held over her 30 plus years in the industry.
From Orlando to Las Vegas, Leslie has worked in some of the finest properties that this country's entertainment capitals have to offer. Leslie has been able to experience a variety of cities marketing efforts and strategies with experience from over 14 years of Orlando in two different 7 year cycles and economic periods, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and more.
Serving on both the International Board for SITE for two years as well as serving on the Florida board, she is also active with the UCF RCHM event management committee. Leslie holds membership with MPI, HSMAI, PCMA, SITE and other major associations.
